The Hunter 49 fuel line out of the factory went from tank to Racor filter to the Yanmar fuel filter shown in the attachment, which has a manual priming button on top, to the injector pump and back to the fuel tank. ie no electric or mechanical external fuel pump.

Yanmar does not make coolant, call an authorized Yanmar Parts Distributor and find out what they recommend. I been buying products off the shelf for years. The good stuff, not the cheap stuff.

Yanmar designs it engines with the filter size of 2 microns to protect the fuel system high pressure pump and injectors - this is why the small filter mounted on the engine is fitted with the 2 micron element.
A Yanmar engine school tech told us to spray some white paint on the bottom of the tube to be able to see the fluid level more easily. My Tranny takes 30W engine oil but your's might be different. There should be a manufacturer's ID plate on the Trans with info about whether to use engine oil or transmission fluid.
