Yale has in recent years limited the number of interviews granted. The official position is they conduct interviews for students for whom they need more information/context.

It looks like Yale incorporates at least a portion of the equity in the primary home as part of their financial aid evaluation. I say this based on two pieces of evidence, but you should definitely confirm. If you go to www.myintuition.org you can see that Yale asks about the primary home equity, whereas other Ivies that don’t use home equity (such as Brown) exclude that question. Paula ...

The founder of BX went to Yale. Also just last year Yale sent multiple grads to BX and even one or two to KKR straight from UG. Also from my understanding Yale has a very strong pipeline to McKinsey and Bain, specifically in their Washington DC offices.
