I'm not sure how to capture or grab the line where the windows license key is displayed after the command finishes and then add it to a text file. I've tried using the -add and ; after the first command and then using add-content E:\sample.txt but it seems the add-content command only lets you add something manually.
Windows 8 (ALL) Retail/OEM (Dell, HP etc.) Using en_windows_8_x64_dvd_915440.iso en_windows_8_x86_dvd_915417.iso Just reinstall, activation is taken care of via BIOS (No COA) or use purchased key if you upgraded. Can anyone confirm/deny the validity of these methods or make suggestions on how to better accomplish activation after a reinstall?
If Windows is succesfully activated, the dialog will indicate is is either 'Permanently Activated' as shown below, or if using a time-limited volume license activation the time the activation is due to expire will be shown. On older versions of Windows (such as Windows 7) the message dialogs will be similar but may have slightly differing text.
The idea is that it will check each of the Computers listed one per line in file named computers.txt in the current working directory. If the Windows(R) product is not showing as licensed, (i.e. 1), it should output some pertinent information to a file named Results.log also in your current working directory. The License Status output would translate to one of the following: 0: Unlicensed 1 ...
7 On Windows 10 or Windows Server 2016/2019, to display the activation status using the command prompt (or powershell) open your preferred command line tool and enter the following command ... a dialog is shown indicating the operating system's activation status.
