The resource pool centralizes resource information, such as the resource name, calendar used, resource units, and cost rate tables. Each project that uses resources from the resource pool is called a sharer file.
By default, the resource calendar is the Standard project calendar, which specifies a 40-hour work week. But if you've assigned a different base calendar to a resource or customized the resource calendar the maximum units value is based on that calendar instead.
