ok, my Koi Pond is fake .. well its a true koi pond to me, just did some reading that by adding certain type of plants it will help the cycle better for the Koi's, but i don't know much about plants.

Koi can go many months without eating, but they will not survive long if ammonia or nitrite are high. Also, watch the koi closely for flashing, clamped fins, red spots, or any other signs of disease.
