The world is smoking less, but the tobacco epidemic is far from over. A new WHO global report shows the number of tobacco users has dropped from 1.38 billion in 2000 to 1.2 billion in 2024. Yet, tobacco still hooks one in five adults worldwide, fuelling millions of preventable deaths every year.
Every year, tobacco use takes more than 8.7 million lives worldwide, over and around 7 million from direct use 1.3 million as a result of second-hand smoke exposure among non-smokers. Of those who die from tobacco-smoke attributable illnesses, 51 000 are under the age of 20.

A number of entries have the status code 000. When I asked them they said that 000 is the status when the client disconnects without transferring the entire file. Since 000 doesn't appear to be a valid HTTP response code (from the RFC), I have to wonder if that's right.
