Believe in Steven! Steven Universe is a half-human, half-Gem hero who's learning to save the world with the magical powers that come from his bellybutton.
Steven Universe is set in the fictional town of Beach City, where the Crystal Gems live in an ancient temple and protect humanity from monsters and other threats. The Gems are ageless, genderless alien warriors who project female humanoid forms from magical gemstones at the core of their being.
He is the son of Greg Universe and Rose Quartz / Pink Diamond, the only known hybrid of a human and a Gem, and the first Crystal Gem of human descent. As a result of his parentage, Steven is an extraordinarily unique being with innate powers beyond that of normal humans and Gems.
Steven Universe is a young boy with magical powers protected by his alien guardians, the Crystal Gems: Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. Steven himself is half-Gem and must come to terms with his identity as he grows up in Beach City with his human father, Greg, and human friend Connie.
Steven accompanies the Crystal Gems, a team of magical beings, on adventures to save planet Earth.
