I am looking to buy a gaming laptop pretty soon that will be able to support the sims 4, the expansion packs, mods and cc’s smoothly. I would like to really get back into my gaming.

In career mode, nobody’s sprinting. In player career mode, no sprint whatsoever even pressing RT. I can’t sprint, my team doesn’t sprint, my opponents don’t sprint. The other modes, sprinting does exist, but for barely two seconds. My players would accelerate eventually and start sprinting, but they just slow down almost immediately. This is at the beginning of the match.
So my Sims 4 game had slowly been getting worse and more glitchy etc however today, I opened up the game after a recent update and the family I've had for at least 2 years has disappeared. The only option was new game.
