The Substance Abuse Treatment Unit (SATU) of the Connecticut Mental Health Center, is a cooperative endeavor of the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) and the Department of Psychiatry of Yale University School of Medicine.

Satu is a Canadian-American writer, director, performer, and multi-disciplinary storyteller in Los Angeles. She is the writer of Roar of the Grain (a new play) and King Nigel's Nervous Breakdown (book, music, & lyrics).
His legacy continues to inspire our work and values. Having grown within SATU over the years, I am deeply connected to the organization’s mission of empowering marginalized communities through inclusive development, financial inclusion and institutional strengthening.
