AIRE, short for Anagrafe degli Italiani Residenti all’Estero, is an official registry maintained by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy. It records the details of Italian citizens who live outside Italy for extended periods.
If you do not have an Italian passport, the data must match the original birth certificate as registered in your Italian municipality. Any middle names must be entered in the “FIRST NAME” field.
