Where do we find more of God’s grace to increase our joy in Christ? God has created patterns for us to follow in reading, prayer, and fellowship.
Jesus never intended for his model prayer (what we call “the Lord’s Prayer”) to be our only guide or counsel for prayer. It is a great place to start, but God’s word gives us so much more material for our prayer lives. Prayer is objectively real — a real God, real communication, real work, real answers.
If you want your prayer life to be rich and deep, satisfying and strong, try praying the way Jesus himself would pray to God.
Use the manual in groups dedicated to prayer, such as men’s or women’s prayer groups; pre-service prayer groups; church-wide prayer meetings; during weeks of prayer; during times of prayer and fasting; during concerts of prayer in the church; etc.
