The PMOS and NNOS symbols in the Figure 1 in the following link is wrong ? Image in question: They're correct and I don't like them. I learned about them while I was reading some information from college courses. Have no idea how they differentiate between enhancement and depletion mode devices.
Discussion on using NMOS and PMOS as current sources, sinks, or voltage sources in circuits, addressing challenges and pin configurations.
How and when to use a NMOS and PMOS as current source/sink and voltage ...
The PMOS circuit is powered by 14VDC and is using a 2n3904 to switch the Gate on the PMOS. The gate is going from 14v to 0 v, but the Drain is only going from 13.98v to 13.38v.
The PMOS MOSFET chosen is about as good as it gets for PMOS esp in a TO-220 case. There are some better ones (sub 10mOhm) in a SMT DPAK or similar case but heatsinking those is more problematic as needs large PCB copper real-estate.
HI. I am trying to design a CMOS Inverter. NMOS turns on and off as expected. However, PMOS does not fully turn off
I have some problem regarding the strong or weak "1" "0" problem. the reason why PMOS produce weak 0, because the PMOS wil turn off at some point. the problem I dont know why PMOS will turn off like some point, not like NMOS will pull the voltage down to 0.
This is the formula in my lecture note for NMOS ] for PMOS, is it something like this? I cant seem to find PMOS formula for this on the internet. Most of...
