The 2016 Dodge / Mopar Challenger Drag Pak boasts a choice of supercharged 354 Hemi or naturally aspirated 426 Hemi engines. The car is meant for Sportsman class racing, and costs $99,426 for the 426 and $109,354 for the supercharged V8. Same power as the car 426 Wedge. Note that the 426 wedge was just a slight overbore of the 413 – and before long they learned how to cast with an even larger bore, creating the 440.
Probably the first 'big block' pickup (unless you consider that huge '60 GMC V-6 a big block) the 426 Custom Sports Special was out a couple of years before Dodge made the 383 an option ('67?).
