The manual the other specs are from is the 1994 update of the Mitsubishi 4D56 manual... and it has different numbers for protruding valve, and recessed valve engines (pre/post '93).

Hi everyone. I have a 1991 L300 with a 4d56 and I'm looking to turn up the boost a little. I have a boost gauge and a manual controller. Routed the turbo wastegate through the boost controller. It looks like boost peaks at 11psi and won't go any higher. I'm guessing it's the over pressure...

So after a long pause I finally got the regrind installed. I had to reach out to the machine shop to ask about hardening. He told me that he has been doing these 4d56 regrinds for over 6 years and no one has complained about any issues. He said the galling isnt typically from lack of hardening...
It’s not a delica but I am not getting anywhere else on other forums. I am in need a of infection pump for this motor. I had been using the 4d55t injection pump but it’s not right. Does anyone know where to get a 4d56-t pump or by chance have one they are willing to sell. Thank you in advance.
