This allows me Layer 2 connectivity between ALL my hosts in my home. My network topology looks like this: "Dual band router/gateway device" --5ghz wifi--> Server 2012R2 Bridge --Ethernet--> unmanaged switch ----> other devices. The ONE very nagging issue I am having with this setup is with my non Microsoft devices (linux).
