Two Macs and One Studio Display - Real World Experience I have seen many online comments on all this, but I actually have a Studio Display and two Macs (13" 2022 Powerbook and M1 Studio) and want to post what I have learned.

I think what's becoming more difficult is continued use of Firewire devices with contemporary Macs, but that's not unexpected. Firewire, like many other technologies, seems to have run its course, imho. Personally, I was never particularly impressed with nor saw much need for Firewire but for a few limited uses such as a/v capture and production.

My 3 Macs are all on Tahoe. I would like to have a single external drive connected to my home network, and have all 3 Macs do automatic Time Machine backups to the drive over my mesh network wifi. Recommendations for a drive and the best way to set this up?
