I have a 2006 chev impala 3.5. Every once in a while a get "Engine Hot - A/C Off" message and the temp gauge drops to zero. I get this even when engine is cold. This happens for a day or two - then everything goes back to normal for a week or two - and then it happens again. I've changed the temp sensor several times - but problem continues.
How to identify FLEET Impalas. While helping others I've realized that it might be helpful to know if a particular vehicle was built as a "fleet" vehicle. Is there a particular code that is common to all model years? I realize the two police versions exist and their codes are known here. But...

I was doing some electrical work on a newly acquired 2012 Chevy Impala. I wanted to share the wiring schematics and connector information I compiled. This is my first post in the forum so if there is a more appropriate place for this to be please let me know.
Models: 2008-2009 Chevrolet Impala Condition Some customers may comment that the Service Stabilitrak message is displayed intermittently after the vehicle is first started. The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) Indicator and Traction Control System (TCS) Warning lights may also come on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) intermittently.
