As for Autocal, I can see it having its uses, e.g., in regard to manual calibration, getting your display in the ballpark and then making manual adjustments after the fact to work out any kinks. But, you are not required to use the Autocal algorithms provided by Calman. They provide a manual calibration workflow as well.
