About EPSO Celebrating its 95th Season, the El Paso Symphony Orchestra is the longest continuously running Symphony in the State of Texas.
EPSO’s 2025-2026 season begins with a special Gala fundraiser celebrating 95 years and honoring Marlene Stewart at 6:30 pm Saturday, September 13, at the El Paso Country Club.
EPSO will feature soloists Meechot Marrero (soprano), Brian Downen (tenor), and Ricardo Herrera (baritone), along with over 200 voices from the UTEP Choral Union and the Youth Opera of El Paso. Together, they will perform the monumental 20th-century cantata Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

EPSO’s longest running education program is the El Paso Electric Young People’s Concerts. Entering their 83rd year, over 12,000 5th grade students attend our free performances in the Abraham Chavez Theatre each year.
