DGT has one major flaw—it does not update the engine (OK, an estimated 3000 ELO is powerful) and does not export PGN files for further analysis. You can only analyse your play using a small right hand side LCD monitor.
DGT is a great company and I’m holding out hope for this product, but so far the Pegasus has been an exercise in frustration. I will be following it’s development for the foreseeable future and I’ll be revisiting it often.
The DGT 3000 must be turned off then go through a sequence of different button presses to reset it for play. While I like mine, I rather use one of my other clocks for skittle play.
DGT Pegasus is the new online chessboard from DGT. It is very similar to the DGT Centaur only slightly smaller and with online capabilities. Has anyone got any news on when it will be released, or better yet tried it?
