Although the D22 is a good truck, have a think about the money you're spending. I would of spent close to 12 grand on my D22. Stereo, suspension etc. My Dmax cost me $46,850. Normally $54,000. The Dmax still rides heaps more comfortable, heaps more power, stereo from the factory is brilliant etc. Only things I am doing to it is, bullbar (Already done), spotties (Already have them) and Uhf ...
If you start with a petrol d22 you've already got a 30a gearbox, the front diff is the rear diff from a sr20 Silvia and the rear diff is from a patrol, they don't make drive lines like that everyday! the potential is massive and as far as engine conversions go, would be one of the best I've ever heard of.
