BRS owns Apex Neptune (whatever it’s called) and they are probably trying to reduce competition… I get all my Hydros products from TSA. BRS doesn't "own" (so to speak) Neptune, both are part of the same parent company Aperture pet and life along with Ecotech, AI and others.
@Bulk Reef Supply I’ve noticed that BRS is discontinuing and out of stock on a lot of products. Both external and internal brands. There hasn’t been an official statement on what is going on. Is there anything that you can tell us?

Yes. BRS had the instructions incorrect until recently. If you use the Balling part C, the mag part of my method (BRS uses it) should only be used at 1/3 of the normal three part recommended dose, or it can be used based just on mag testing (not my recommendation due to inaccurate tests).

BRS is the only one I’ve never had a problem with. Aquacave was a shipping issue that they immediately fixed (which wasn’t their fault at all) and SaltwaterAquarium was a billing issue that I had to dispute the charge with PayPal before it got fixed.
Summary: In alphabetical order: Aquatic Life, BRS, Buckeye Hydro, and SpectraPure all make quality units at different price points. How many of the bells/whistles do I need on my RO/DI unit? Well you can run a unit and produce high quality water without any of the fancy bells and whistles it would require more work/monitoring of the system.
