The vacuum pump can leak however, as it is lubricated by pressurized oil from the engine's oiling system. A vacuum pump seal kit can be had at your local cummins dealership for less than $10 (I think I paid $8).
To do so, you need to install an additional oil feed line from the engine block to the vacuum pump and also saw part of the throttle mounting assembly out of the way of the PS pump since the newer type vacuum pump is a little longer than the older style pump. It was pretty easy once I bought the turn key upgrade and started installing everything.
