I can't speak to the Rubicon's system being full time or not but I know the lower ratio is better for crawling rocks where the Mojave is more the high speed desert running. Not that the JTM can't do rocks but I don't know that I'd be running the Rubicon Trail with one. The CommandTrac is the standard 4x4 system.
As someone who bought in early 2024 (I was an idiot and impatient) on a new Rubicon X with almost every option. $48k is a steal on a X, especially with 2025 only being paint options differences. I think it depends on what you are looking for and the packages on the plain Rubicon - safety/tech/premo auto/nav/bumpers/heated seats and steering wheel.
