The compressor on your Sentra (and most other late model Nissans) has a variable piston throw controlled by a solenoid with a PWM signal from the IPDM. The solenoid controls a swash plate that lengthens or shortens the piston throw so the compressor moves more or less refrigerant depending on the cooling load.
Re: 2017 Sentra CVT fluid capacity? Post by sabbates » Wed 11:37 am Where did you get the service manual for the 2017 Sentra? The 2016 manual says to fill the CVT fluid from below with a pump. Were you able to fill it from the "dipstick tube" from above?
