The fact that Constitution Hill is 1/3 against a horse as talented as State Man tells you everything you need to know about Nicky Henderson’s gelding. Unbeaten under rules, Constitution Hill has won all of his starts by a minimum of 12 lengths and a similar winning margin here would see him rated amongst the greatest hurdlers ever. With his form looking cast iron, the son of Blue Bresil appears to have everything and it is extremely difficult to find even a minor flaw in him. Perhaps the only negative is his jumping is so efficient, quick and low that there is little room for error, and a slight misjudgement might end in disaster. That is nit-picking, though, and he should extend his winning run to six.
