The only place to start for Friday’s King George Qatar Stakes is HIGHFIELD PRINCESS. This granite-tough mare has yet to win this season but it’ll be a surprise if she doesn’t put that right here. A genuine Group 1 performer, most of her opponents are simply not up to that level.
One who is, on her day and provided very soft ground, is WHITE LAVENDER. She went close in the l’Abbaye last season and is probably building towards that contest again, but would come into this if there was another downpour.
EQUALITY comes into this off the back of a career best and is improving, but will need to step forward again here.
