Port Vale win can prove Burton catalyst against fellow strugglers
Burton landed their first league win of the campaign at the eighth attempt on Tuesday, courtesy of a 3-2 win over high-flying Port Vale and Dino Maamria’s men have a chance to build more momentum this weekend when winless Fleetwood visit the Pirelli Stadium.
Albion have had a tough start playing four of the current top seven in their last four league games, but were far from disgraced in holding Bolton to a draw in Staffordshire and losing 0-1 to Exeter on home turf.
Fleetwood have lost six of their seven games so far and notched just three goals in the process so Burton look a very chunky price to follow up their midweek heroics.

Crewe Alexandra followers have certainly had their money’s worth in terms of goals so far this term, with a total goals average of four per league game. In fact, all bar one of their eight League Two outings to date in 2023/24 have landed the odds for over 3.5 goals backers.
