In-form Toffees can boost excellent road resume at Turf Moor

Everton have gone some way to banishing early season relegation fears following a run of five wins and a draw from their last six games and look decent value at 11/10 to win away at Burnley, previous employers of their manager Sean Dyche.

The Toffees have won their last three league games to nil, including taking the scalps of Newcastle and Chelsea at Goodison Park and travel to a Clarets side that have the worst home record in the top-flight having lost all bar one of eight games in front of their fans this term.

Only four teams in the Premier League have amassed more away points than Everton (13) this term – Manchester City (16), Liverpool (16), Arsenal (16) and Tottenham (15). All have played at least once more on the road.

Tip: Everton to beat Burnley @ 11/10

Villans to come back to earth with a point away to solid Bees

Aston Villa have been on a spectacular run of form of late, with a sequence of six wins and a draw in all competitions culminating in home wins over Manchester City and Arsenal as they extended their run of successive league wins at Villa Park to 14.

On the road, though they’ve been rather more mortal, claiming just three wins from eight away league games and going down 3-2 to Legia Warsaw in Poland in the Europa Conference League. Villa have dropped points at Wolves, Forest and Bournemouth inside their last four EPL aways.

Their visit to Brentford will come in the wake of those hard-earned home wins against last season’s top two and an away trip to Zrinksi Mostar in which they need to claim a point to nail down top spot in their ECL group.

A win is expected to prove beyond Unai Emery’s men. Brentford lost just two league games at the Gtech Community Stadium last term and they remain a tough proposition on home soil despite losing the same number already in this campaign.

Arsenal needed an 89th minute winner to snatch a win in west London back in late November and Villa – less effective than the Gunners on the road – may well have to settle for a point.

Tip: Brentford vs Aston Villa – Draw @ 13/5

Arsenal can avenge Emirates reverses but Brighton will bag

There will be plenty of punters looking for a way to side with 11/2 Brighton at the Emirates given the Seagulls have won there on their last three visits. However, the 4/9 Gunners are fancied to have too much for them this time having won their last six home games in all competitions.

Hints of the benign possession common during Graham Potter’s tenure on the south coast returned to the Seagulls when they lost 3-2 away to Chelsea despite having 67% of the ball and winning the shot count 15-8.

Arsenal are a good few grades above the Blues and having beaten Manchester City at the Emirates earlier this term, they should be able to see off the knock-off version this time around.

Their win price is too skinny for our purposes, but that’s bumped up to 15/8 if we add both teams to score in to the equation. BTTS has landed in every single Brighton league game this season.
