Buoyant Bournemouth ideal dance partners for another Bees blockbuster

Last week’s over 3.5-goals bet involving Brentford fell one short when they lost 2-1 to Fulham at Craven Cottage on Monday night. However, that only makes the 7/5 on offer about at least four goals being scored when the Bees host Bournemouth more appealing.

Premier League fixtures at the Gtech Community Stadium this season average 4.8 goals per game. Thomas Frank’s side are the division’s joint top home scorers with 15 goals, but only two teams in the top-flight have conceded more on their own patch than the nine they’ve let slip.

Having beaten Arsenal and Manchester City and drawn with Aston Villa inside their last four games Bournemouth’s recent form has more than earned them the right to approach this assignment with no fear and that should contribute to another bonanza.

Tip: Brentford vs Bournemouth – Over 3.5 goals @ 7/5

Odds underestimate a Forest team firing on all cylinders vs Newcastle

Only Liverpool and Manchester City have more Premier League points than Nottingham Forest this season but apparently that’s not good enough for the Betzone traders, who price them up as 7/4 home underdogs for the visit of Newcastle.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have won their last three top-flight games (scoring three times in each of the past two), have lost just once all season and they boast the division’s second-meanest defence and joint-second top goalscorer in Chris Wood.

That’s a lot of positives for a 7/4 win bet, but Newcastle have only tasted defeat three times in the league this term and beat Arsenal last time out so the 19/20 about the hosts to win with the draw-no-bet concession feels like the most comfortable fit for this encounter.

Tip: Nottingham Forest to beat Newcastle (draw no bet) @ 19/20

Opt for over 3.5 goals sweetener to add value to Lilywhites win wagers

Tottenham have copped a fair amount of abuse in recent weeks considering they’d won seven of their eight games in all competitions prior to their 1-0 loss to Crystal Palace on October 27.

Since then they’ve won another two matches at the imaginatively-titled Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, knocking Manchester City out of the Carabao Cup then routing Aston Villa 4-1.

Odds of 1/4 for them to beat winless Ipswich are understandable, if not appealing, as a result, but adding the over-3.5-goals sweetener to the home victory ups the odds to 11/10 and looks to have plenty of legs.

Spurs have won four of five league games in their own backyard in 2024/25 – all four of them have seen at least four goals netted. Ipswich have already played their part in plenty of EPL ding-dongs this term, with at least four scored in three of their five top-flight away outings.

Tip: Tottenham to beat Ipswich & Over 3.5 goals @ 11/10
