Manchester City are 5/4 favourites in the Premier League outright betting as they bid to win a fifth successive Premier League title in 2024/25.

The relentless mastery of Pep Guardiola’s men makes it hard to argue against that being a decent value bet, but with numerous other EPL outright markets priced up by Betzone for the season ahead there’s plenty more value to be had.

Goal king Cole great price for top gun without Haaland

Man City’s Erling Haaland is an imposing 8/13 favourite in the Premier League top goalscorer betting and the Norwegian looks tough to oppose having topped the charts by six goals and five goals in his first two campaigns at the Etihad.

Mohamed Salah (5/1), Alexander Isak (15/2) and Ollie Watkins (8/1) head the market in the top scorer without Haaland market, but at 10/1 Cole Palmer, who finished second in the standings last term, looks the best bet here.

Palmer had an incredible first term at Stamford Bridge with 22 goals and 11 assists in an inconsistent Chelsea side and feels certain to push on off the back of a summer in which he scored against Spain in England’s losing Euro 2024 final appearance.

The imponderable is whether his callow Blues side continue to mature under new boss Enzo Maresca, but it feels like a relative certainty that the ice-cool Mancunian will.

Only Haaland (3.9) and Salah (3.6) averaged more shots on goal last term and Salah has only matched the 22 Palmer bagged last season in either of the last two campaigns.

Tip: Top goalscorer w/o Erling Haaland – Cole Palmer @ 10/1

Moyes exit no barrier to another top-10 West Ham campaign

Looking at the Premier League top-half finish market West Ham are easily the standout bet at 1/1, having finished ninth or better in three of the last four seasons, including doing so twice in the last three campaigns despite the demands of European football.

The generous odds about the Irons booking another top-10 finish are likely down in part to the departure of David Moyes at the end of last season after a productive four-and-a-half year second spell at the London Stadium.

However, replacement Julen Lopetegui is backed to keep up standards after leading Wolves to a 13th place finish in 2022/23, his sole campaign as a Premier League boss. Gary O’Neill was lauded for last term’s exploits when the Moulineux side finished 14th.

West Ham will find this season far less probing on their squad depth with no European football and that should see them finish comfortably above 11th, even before the impending sign of Niclas Fullkrug improves their goalscoring threat.

Tip: West Ham top-half finish @ 1/1
