England face Finland in UEFA Nations League action at Wembley on Tuesday night in their second game under interim manager Lee Carsley and the Three Lions are just 2/13 to win, with the draw a long shot at 13/2 and the Fins massive 16/1 underdogs.
Carsley wants his side to play entertaining, offensive football and the visitors’ recent form suggests they’re the kind of opposition against which the hosts can flex their muscles.

Fins look the ideal dance partners for entertaining England win
England are such heavy favourites for victory in their second Group B2 assignment that any type of win bet on them necessitates the addition of a kicker.
A skim through Finland’s recent back catalogue suggests goals are clearly the way to go, with the visitors’ last nine matches across all competitions seeing at least three registered and three of their last five producing four or more.
During that sequence they’ve shipped three to Slovenia and Greece and four to Portugal, as well as conceding against minnows including San Marino and their Baltic brethren Estonia.
England played some excellent football in the first half of the 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland on Saturday and should have little trouble sourcing goals against the Finnish backline ,but that’s not the only thing that makes the England win and over 3.5 goals a great wager.
The Eagle Owls notched twice away to both Portugal and Scotland in pre-Euro-2024 friendlies and could be capable of punishing any lapses from the hosts to help swell the goal count.
Tip: England to win and over 3.5 goals @ 7/5
Ireland outing suggest Gordon can gild Wembley start with a goal>/h2>
Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon spent virtually the entirety of Euro 2024 on the bench, barring an 89th minute substitute appearance against Slovenia, but already appears far more prominent in Carsley’s plans for the future.
The 23-year-old started against the Irish, playing 77 minutes and advertising himself as anytime goalscorer in waiting in the new set-up.
Only Harry Kane (four) had more attempts on goal than the former Everton man (three) but Gordon’s three shots on target was the highest of any man with three lions on their shirt, even though he came off seven minutes ahead of the skipper.
Kane is just 1/2 to bag at Wembley, whereas Gordon, at 6/4 to notch anytime, looks a more attractive price. Having scored six in 16 outings for Carlsey’s Under 21s he can get off the mark as a full international.
