Last year’s Champion Chase winner comes into this year’s contest off the back of a pretty disappointing effort in the Clarence House. He should prove better than that run, but it was pretty disappointing how little he found from the second last and the form of last year’s Champion Chase looks pretty weak now, for all that he was a comprehensive winner. Behind two of his Champion Chase rivals last time, he looks vulnerable.
