Points should be at a premium as low-scoring sides collide

Even money about under 33.5 points for the LA Chargers visit to Las Vegas Raiders looks an exceedingly generous offering with both sides struggling on the score board of late.

The visiting Chargers have mustered 10 points or less in each of their last three outings, none of which rung up a total higher than 31 points. LA could well be blunter still for the trip to Sin City having lost star quarterback Justin Herbet to a season-ending finger injury last time out.

Vegas, meanwhile, were shutout in a dreary 3-0 loss against the Vikings in week 14 and have scored 17 points or fewer in 10 of their 13 matches so far this season.

Tip: Chargers @ Raiders – Under 33.5 points @ 1/1

Philly good value to resume winning ways down in class

The Philadelphia Eagles may be coming into this trip to Seattle on the back of consecutive defeats, but those defeats came to the 49ers and the Cowboys, top of the NFC West and East respectively.

Pete Carroll’s Seahawks represent far more beatable fare and even money about last season’s Super Bowl runners-up to overcome the -4.5-point handicap looks more than fair.

Seattle have lost five of their last six outings, with four of those defeats seeing them score 16 or fewer and lose by six points or more.

Tip: Eagles (-4.5) to cover vs Seahawks @ 1/1

First FG market no pick ‘em affair when Dallas visit Buffalo

The Dallas Cowboys handed the previously 9-3 Eagles a 33-13 beating in Texas to take over top spot in the NFC East in week 14 but they remain 2.5 point ‘dogs for the journey to Buffalo, who beat Kansas City away on Sunday.

However, while there’s little to choose between the two franchises in terms of match odds and their respective form on offer, there’s one metric on which they can be split fairly easily and better still it lends itself to a bet at a decent price.

Only the Cleveland Browns (31) have converted more field goals than Dallas (30) across 13 games this season. The Bills by comparison have only notched 20 FGs across the same amount of fixtures. Both teams are priced up at 20/21 – we know which we’ll be picking.

Tip: Cowboys to score first field goal vs Bills @ 20/21
