Misers of the MetLife Stadium can reward under backers again
The Giants haven’t exactly been spoiling home fans at the Metlife Stadium this season, struggling for points themselves and often stopping the opposition lighting up the scoreboard either.
Points totals in their four home games so far in the 2023 campaign have been 40 (scored entirely by the visiting Cowboys), 27, 21 and 23 (after overtime).
Guests New England have been poor this season and can do their part in keeping the score down. They’ve grabbed 17 points or less in eight of their last nine games.
Tips: Patriots @ Giants – Under 33.5 points @ 10/11
Points will be scarce as Burrow-less Bengals face stingy Steelers
Pittsburgh aren’t the kind of side you want to be facing when you’ve recently found out that your star quarterback is out for the season. You have to feel then for Cincinatti, who arrive at the Acrisure Stadium on a two-game slump, having lost Joe Burrow to injury last time out.
The Steelers have conceded 20 points or less in each of their last six matches and their stingy defence, combined with opponents feeling their way into life without their regular QB, should see this encounter rewards under players.
Tips: Bengals @ Steelers – Under 35.5 points @ 5/6
Raiders home form can see Chiefs offensive woes continue
The Kansas City Chiefs offence continues to look off-colour, with their running backs putting on an exhibition of how not to catch the football in their Super Bowl rematch with Philly last week.
Patrick Mahomes and friends have scored 23 points or less in seven of their 10 games so far this season, including both their last two outings.
Their struggles are expected to continue against a Raiders defensive line that’s given up totals of 13, 17, 6 and 12 in their last four home games.
