The Champions League semi-final first legs play out in Germany this Tuesday and Wednesday as Bayern Munich host Real Madrid before Borussia Dortmund welcome Paris Saint-Germain.

Goals are forecast in both of our UCL last four betting tips – as part of a draw at the Allianz Arena and madcap match-up typical of Les Parisiens’ recent form at Signal Iduna Park

Back this blockbuster tie to serve up a blockbuster tie at the Allianz Arena

Tuesday night sees Champions League royalty Bayern Munich and Real Madrid face off for the first time since 2018 and it’s the Bavarians that are narrow 7/5 favourites to prevail on home turf.

However, betting against a Real Madrid side that have lost just once all season and not since September seems like folly – especially give this isn’t a vintage Bayern outfit.

The 1/1 about Los Blancos in the draw-no-bet market is tempting, but Die Roten haven’t lost a UCL home game since 2021 and reminded us just how much European knockout know-how they retain when leaving moderate domestic showings behind to oust an in-form Arsenal in the quarter finals.

Real have won four and drawn one of their five away games in the competition this year, but every one of those wins (over Napoli, Braga, Union Berlin and RB Leipzig) came by just a one-goal margin. Against Munich the quality and attacking threat of the hosts would make a draw a great result.

Both teams have scored in four of Madrid’s five UCL road games this season and seven of their 10 UCL outings all told, so the 16/5 about a draw in which both sides score looks a great value play to land, just as it did in both sides’ quarter-final first legs.

Tip: Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid – Draw & both teams to score @ 16/5

Les Parisiens recent form suggest no repeat of cagey group stage clashes

Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund meet for the third time in this season’s Champions League having played each other twice in the group stages. PSG won their home game 2-0 and held the Germans to a 1-1 draw in the return.

Another low-scoring affair might be the logical expectation, but that would be to ignore the French side’s recent form which has seen each of their last five games produced at least five goals.

The chaotic energy of their recent performances could well set off the swashbucklers in Die Schwarzgelben. Edin Terzic’s men beat Atletico Madrid 4-2 at Signal Iduna Park in the second leg of their last eight tie and four of their last five games have seen three goals or more find the net.

Tip: Borussia Dortmund vs Paris Saint-Germain – Over 3.5 Goals @ 6/5
